This is the Trend Micro detection for files that contain a malicious script.
It redirects browsers to the following sites:
- http://{BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.116.78/jquery.js
It does the following:
- The malware will proceed with the redirection, every time it is used/loaded by a webpage visited by the user.
- After redirecting to the said site, a new script (jquery.js) will be loaded directly, which came from the malicious site.

Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Close all opened browser windows
Step 3
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as JS_REDIR.XXQL. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
