NOTES:
This is Trend Micro detection for specially crafted .SWF file that takes advantage of a vulnerability in certain versions of Adobe Flash Player.

The Trojan checks if the browser used is any of the following:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Internet Explorer
It also checks for the following Flash Player ActiveX Control versions:
  • 10.3.181.14
  • 10.3.181.22
  • 10.3.181.23
Once the above conditions are met, it then downloads a file from where it is hosted and saves it in the folder, %User Temp%. It then executes the downloaded file. As a result, routines of the downloaded file are then exhibited on the affected system.
