It does the following:

  • It uses JAVAW.EXE to run .JAR files.

NOTES:

Based on analysis of the codes, it has the following capabilities:

  • It attempts to connect to a URL to download a possibly malicious file, name it as WINDOWS_SECURITY_CENTER.EXE and save it in C:\Temp folder.
  • It then executes the downloaded file. As a result, the malicious routines of the downloaded file are exhibited on the affected system.
