This Trojan requires the following additional components to properly run:

  • mpengindrv.db → Detected as Trojan.Win32.COBEACON.RJACM.enc

It does the following:

  • It connects to the following URL to download a component which it will load in its memory and perform its malicious routine:
    • http://{BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.22.148:443

However, as of this writing, the said sites are inaccessible.

It gathers the following information and reports it to its servers:

  • Computer Name
  • Username
  • Hostname
  • Local IP Address
  • Current Process Name
  • Os Version and Architecture
