This backdoor drops the following copies of itself into the affected system:

  • %User Temp%\517\wupdmgr.exe

It creates the following folders:

This backdoor executes the following commands from a remote malicious user:

  • Download files
  • Manage files
  • Perform remote shell
  • Search and upload files

It connects to the following URL(s) to send and receive commands from a remote malicious user:

Remove the malware/grayware file that dropped/downloaded BKDR_PROXY.TPA
