This Trojan connects to the following website(s) to download and execute a malicious file:

  • http://app.{BLOCKED}e-hosts.org/updates.exe

It saves the files it downloads using the following names:

  • %Temp%\444.exe - detected as BKDR_BUBLIK.A

(Note: %Temp% is the Windows temporary folder, where it usually is C:\Windows\Temp on all Windows operating system versions.)

NOTES:

It is executed by the following file:

  • %User Temp%\adobeacd-updates.vbs - detected as VBS_LOADR.FKUPS

Step 1
