Trend Micro came across a pop up window that promotes "Google pharmacy". The said window was encountered while browsing through the search engine Google. The said window is almost identical to the one we have seen last 2006. The said pop up windows contains a link that directs users to a pharmacy site advertising counterfeit drugs.�The said site was discovered to be recently registered last October 2011. It��was verified it as fraud page or threat source and is now blocked.�


Trend Micro recommends that users should careful when browsing search results or pages from Google and other similar sites. Bookmarking trusted sites also reduces the risk of encountering malicious links via search engines.
