It does the following:

  • This Trojan is used to load another component file and execute the payload on the affected system. As a result, malicious routines of the component file are exhibited on the affected system.
  • The payload component contains the same filename of this file but with any of the following extension:
    • .txt
    • .idx
    • .lck
    • .dat
  • It gathers the following information that will be used to decrypt the payload component:
    • Machine GUID
    • Computer Name
    • Volume Serial Number

Step 1

Identify and terminate files detected as TROJ_MIUREF.BTSJN
