It appends the following extension to the file name of the encrypted files:
- .locked
NOTES:
It should generate randomly generated IP address and send to it the IV and keys but the code is incomplete.
The ransomware would sleep for 24 hours if randomly generated IP address cannot be pinged.
The list of the files to be encrypted is located in /home/dipper/Desktop/text.rtf, but this malware would not write any list of files since the code is incomplete.

Step 1
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as RANSOM_RUBY.A. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files. Restore encrypted files from backup.
