Backdoor Routine
This backdoor executes the following commands from a remote malicious user:
- 2 - Create a file
- 3 - Open or execute a file
- 4 - Enumerate processes
- 5 - Open a remote Command Prompt
- 8 - Uninstall this malware
- 9 - Write to the file opened using command #2, then close the file
It connects to the following URL(s) to send and receive commands from a remote malicious user:
- {BLOCKED}pdate.myfw.us:443

Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Step 2
Remove malware/grayware files that dropped/downloaded BKDR_JOBPAS.A
Step 3
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product and note files detected as BKDR_JOBPAS.A
Step 4
Restart in Safe Mode
Step 5
Search and delete the file detected as BKDR_JOBPAS.A
Step 6
Restart in normal mode and scan your computer with your Trend Micro product for files detected as BKDR_JOBPAS.A. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
