It arrives as a component bundled with malware/grayware packages.

Installation

This Trojan drops the following non-malicious file:

  • %Windows%\control.ctr

(Note: %Windows% is the Windows folder, which is usually C:\Windows or C:\WINNT.)

Autostart Technique

This Trojan adds the following registry entries to enable its automatic execution at every system startup:

  • It may capture snapshot images and mouse clicks on the affected system.
  • It sends the data it gathers using its own Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) to the following remote server:

    • {BLOCKED}m@Corporate.com.br
    • {BLOCKED}iso@hmail.com
