This backdoor connects to the following websites to send and receive information:

Other Details
Based on analysis of the codes, it has the following capabilities:
- It checks the firewall settings of the affected system.
- It enumerates Internet Connection Firewall properties and port mappings on a computer.
- It checks if the firewall settings have been configured to allow DHCP and DNS.

Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Step 2
Remove malware files dropped/downloaded by BKDR_POISON.TKR
- TROJ_ARTIEF.VNI
Step 3
Identify and terminate files detected as BKDR_POISON.TKR
- If the detected file is displayed in either Windows Task Manager or Process Explorer but you cannot delete it, restart your computer in safe mode. To do this, refer to this link for the complete steps.
- If the detected file is not displayed in either Windows Task Manager or Process Explorer, continue doing the next steps.
