Installation

This Trojan drops and executes the following files:

  • %Temp%\adobeacd-update.bat - detected as BAT_LOADR.FKUPS

(Note: %Temp% is the Windows temporary folder, where it usually is C:\Windows\Temp on all Windows operating system versions.)

Dropping Routine

This Trojan drops the following files:

  • %Temp%\adobeacd-update.vbs - detected as VBS_LOADR.FKUPS
  • %Temp%\adobeacd-update.ps1 - detected as VBS_DLOADR.FKUPS

(Note: %Temp% is the Windows temporary folder, where it usually is C:\Windows\Temp on all Windows operating system versions.)
