This Trojan arrives as an attachment to email messages spammed by other malware/grayware or malicious users.

It arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

This Trojan does the following:

  • Shows the following to trick users in typing their password:

  • Sends the gathered credentials to the following URL via HTTPS POST:
    https://{BLOCKED}s.ca/wp-admin/cat.php
  • Connects to the following URL to display the fake site:
    http://icons.{BLOCKED}chive.com/icons/dakirby309/simply-styled/256/Microsoft-SharePoint-2013-icon.png
    http://www.{BLOCKED}state.edu/president/discovere/images/improvedlogos/goog%20docs.png
    http;//www.{BLOCKED}show.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/sharepoint-logo.png

Step 1
