This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Information Theft

This Trojan gathers the following data:

  • Username
  • Running Process Name
  • Parent Process Name
  • 32-bit or 64-bit machine

Other Details

This Trojan connects to the following website to send and receive information:

  • http://{BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}s.net/i.php

It does the following:

  • Checks for one of the following strings on each item and malware terminates itself if one is found:
    • 1. Running processes:

      • "avp*"
      • "dwengine*"
    • 2. Services:

      • "monitor*"
      • "zabbix*"
      • "BGS_SDService*"
      • "NAGIOS*"

      • "dr.web*"
      • "Bitdefender*"
      • "QualysAgent*"
    • 3. Service Display Name:
      • "*zabbix*"
      • "*BGS_SDService*"
      • "*NAGIOS*"

      • "*APPOPTICS*"
      • "*Anturis*"
      • "*dr.web*"
      • "*F-Secure*"
      • "*Bitdefender*"
  • It executes a set of codes obtained from its C&C.

Step 1
