Installation

This Hacking Tool drops the following files:

  • Deleted upon process termination:
    • %User Temp%\dup2patcher.dll
    • %User Temp%\bassmod.dll
    • %User Temp%\{Random Hex}.dll
    • %User Temp%\Berlin Sans FB.TTF
    • %User Temp%\regpatch.reg

(Note: %User Temp% is the current user's Temp folder, which is usually C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Local Settings\Temp on Windows 2000(32-bit), XP, and Server 2003(32-bit), or C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Local\Temp on Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 2008(64-bit), 2012(64-bit) and 10(64-bit).)

It adds the following processes:

  • "%Windows%\regedit.exe" /s "%User Temp%\regpatch.reg"

(Note: %User Temp% is the current user's Temp folder, which is usually C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Local Settings\Temp on Windows 2000(32-bit), XP, and Server 2003(32-bit), or C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Local\Temp on Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 2008(64-bit), 2012(64-bit) and 10(64-bit).)

It accepts the following parameters:

  • /help → display help menu
  • /silent → no window gui, no input
  • /overwrite → overwrite existing files during file attachment export
  • /backup → make backup of every file which is patched
  • /setvar → set content of %dup2_cmd_var%
  • /startupworkdir → set working directory for the patcher

Step 1
