Installation

This Backdoor adds the following processes:

  • systemctl enable biosetd
  • systemctl daemon-reload
  • systemctl start biosetd

Backdoor Routine

This Backdoor connects to the following URL(s) to send and receive commands from a remote malicious user:

  • {BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.233.87

Other Details

This Backdoor does the following:

  • It renames itself to the following, if it is found inexisting:
    • /usr/bin/biosetd
  • It creates and starts the following service:
    • /lib/systemd/system/biosetd.service -> executes "/bin/bash -c /usr/bin/biosetd" upon restart
