NOTES:
It arrives by opening an infected acad.lsp file. Upon execution, it searches and reads the file acad.lsp and looks for the string "ddcopy.lsp" in it. If it did not find the said string, it adds the following line to acad.lsp:

  • load "ddcopy.lsp"

It will then overwrite the contents of the file ddcopy.lsp with the contents of the modified acad.lsp file.

It also checks if the file name of the opened drawing file is "Drawing.dwg". If it is not, it overwrites the contents of the file acad.lsp with the contents of ddcopy.lsp.

This malware does not have rootkit capabilities.
