Installation

This Ransomware adds the following processes:

  • wbadmin delete catalog -quiet
  • ping 1.1.1.1 -n 1 -w 3000 > Nul
  • Del "{Full Path of the Malware}\{Malware Name}.exe"
  • notepad.exe %Desktop%\#DECRYPT_MY_FILES#.txt
  • wscript.exe %Desktop%\#DECRYPT_MY_FILES#.vbs

Step 1

Identify and terminate files detected as RANSOM_SATURN.A

  1. Windows Task Manager may not display all running processes. In this case, please use a third-party process viewer, preferably Process Explorer, to terminate the malware/grayware/spyware file. You may download the said tool here.
