Sunburst (SolarWinds): We can help
What happened?
On December 13, 2020, public information began to circulate about a massive, sophisticated attack that hit many organizations via the supply chain. This was carried out via a compromised version of the popular network monitoring software SolarWinds Orion. The attackers planted a backdoor known as Sunburst onto affected machines, gaining complete access to the targeted organizations’ network.
What should I do?
It is highly recommended that all customers follow the guidance from SolarWinds and other agencies, such as the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, to isolate and/or disconnect affected products until the necessary hotfixes are applied, and the systems are certified safe.
