Building a seamless and secure cloud environment with AWS
Elevate cloud capabilities and stay ahead in today's dynamic cloud landscape.
At Trend Micro, we always have our eyes on the future. That’s why, many years ago, we spotted the vast potential in cloud computing and began to pioneer cloud security before the term even existed. Those same impulses remain today and fuel our technical innovation. However, as the market matures, customers are increasingly demanding a frictionless experience without compromising on security. That’s one of the reasons we’re delighted to be a launch partner for the new AWS built-in (ABI) program.
We’re excited to leverage our 11+ year partnership with AWS to offer a uniquely integrated co-build solution to help simplify, enhance, and secure our customers’ cloud journeys.
Why Trend?
Investing in the cloud might seem routine for IT and business leaders today. The ability to drive business/IT agility, optimize costs, and support innovation-fueled growth is well understood and frequently documented. But it wasn’t always the way. Over a decade ago, the public cloud and pioneers like AWS were still a novelty in the technology space.
Trend was one of the few cybersecurity companies to see the promise of the technology and understand why protecting these emerging environments would be critical in the coming years. That’s why today, we’re the natural choice for AWS customers. Our leadership in this space is based on three pillars: trust, innovation, and global reach.
Trend is one of the longest-standing AWS partners around and was an early AWS Marketplace seller. Recently, we were awarded the prestigious title of Global AWS Marketplace Partner of the Year in 2022 and continue to showcase our technical expertise and customer success through AWS Competency designations. The growing list currently numbers seven competencies covering: cloud operations software, government, DevOps, containers, healthcare, security, and Level 1 MSSP.
Cloud innovation never stands still, and neither do we. Over the past 10+ years, we’ve continued to research the landscape, predict where threats are likely to emerge and build new products and features accordingly. Most recently, it’s become clear that global organizations want simplicity alongside robust protection to help them to see and mitigate risk across the entire cloud attack surface. Trend Cloud One enables exactly that–delivering a unified toolset to secure cloud migration, cloud-native apps, and cloud operations.
In fact, Trend is different from many AWS partners because of our unique approach to innovation. While other vendors are happy to adopt AWS features, we want to collaborate as true partners to deliver a better experience for our customers. That’s why we work closely with AWS to achieve a win-win-win for customers, partners, and Trend Micro.
Trend offerings are available to customers in more global markets than any other pure-play security vendor: over 175 countries and counting. This vast footprint enables us to better understand and address the security challenges faced by customers in specific industries and locations. Hundreds of researchers and data scientists work across the globe in 15 threat research centers to make the digital world a safer place for our 500,000+ customers, wherever they are.
Forward with ABI
We’re tremendously excited about the next stage in our journey with AWS as a launch partner for ABI. The new program will enable us to offer co-built solutions that automatically install, configure, and integrate with native AWS Cloud Foundational Services like CloudTrail, AWS System Manager, and AWS Inspector. Amongst other things, the pre-integrated solutions will help customers enhance risk insight for improved SecOps, accelerate their response against vulnerability exploits, and strengthen compliance support.
Perhaps just as importantly, the AWS Marketplace-listed offerings will help customers seeking new ways to simplify, secure, and accelerate their journey to the hybrid cloud. We’re excited to strengthen our partnership with AWS and continue supporting customers through the launch of the new ABI program.
