There should be an easier way for someone who is not a download or inessence, computer savvy. I think I finally got them covered but not sure.

I asked one of the computer geeks there what system the college used and was told "Trend Micro". I figure if it was good enough for the college, it was good enough for me. That was in 2006 and I have been protected by Trend Micro ever since. I wouldn't have anything else. I've recommended it to several people who also are very happy with it. While others around me are getting harmed with viruses, trojan horses and such, mu computer has remained fully protected.

I have had Trend Micro for 12 years never had a virus on my computer. Before Trend Micro I had a different protection and still got zap with a virus. To me Trend Micro is the greatest protection you can have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lulu Nonnie from Great service and pretty easy to use. Trend Micro was added to my laptop by a local computer seller/servicer. They like it best for protection. I got a hack email and among my efforts to mitigate any damage I added the Mobile service to my phone. It was Easy to install and I find it fairly easy to use. I would suggest it starts with a basic overall (checklist) listing of all the security options to ensure we find them all to activate. I almost missed a few but I always search new sites throughly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by suser99 from Glitches with enforced updates result in loss of protection Glitches after installing updates result in continued demands to "Activate Protection" despite repeated attempts to do so. One has to repeatedly install and uninstall TrendMicro until a day or two later, TrendMicro has presumably been debugged. Error messages encountered during this time include, "An error occurred during the transfer of your activation information. Please contact Trend Micro technical support for help, and mention error code 0x90000000." But following this help link or other "help" links leads to error messages such as "An error occurred during a connection to gr.trendmicro.com" or, my favourite, "Oops! The page you're looking for appears to have been moved, deleted, or does not exist." Moreover, the standard support link leads to an "Oops. Something went wrong. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later." This is certainly not what one would expect from presumably highly sophisticated software programmers at a presumably competent anti-virus software company. Meanwhile, one remains without virus protection for a few days until TrendMicro, with no alerts or feedback to the user, starts working again as if nothing had happened. And by the way, there are far too many annoying attempts to foist more TrendMicro products on the user.

However, I recently had a need to protect more devices and rather than just being able to add additional seats I was forced to upgrade to Maximum Security. I didn't really have a problem upgrading but I figured the cost of the upgrade would be prorated since I already had a previous version that doesn't expire until late 1st quarter 2022. Not the case however. So now I have the Internet Security version that is no longer being used but still has a few months until expiration and of course the newly purchased Maximum Security version which I now use. Very disappointed in Trend Micro.
