United Energy Pakistan Limited (UEP) is the largest foreign oil and gas exploration and production company in Pakistan. Acquired by United Energy Group (UEG) in 2011, UEP has experienced significant growth, with production and reserves nearly tripling. The company’s operations, primarily located in the Sindh, Punjab, and Baluchistan provinces, cover an expansive area of around 10,037 square miles.
UEP has around 1,400 end users, spread over seven different locations. Head of Information Technology at UEP, Tanveer Saleem, oversees the technology infrastructure and the safeguarding of digital assets, and his core objective is to protect their infrastructure across the entire data lifecycle.
